Early Life

Kailee was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, with at least five other siblings. At eight years old, she made her first public performance at her school, when she sang about hating piano lessons. [1] When she turned ten, she learned how to play guitar. After that, sometime in her teens, she learned how to write songs, and began to write original material for herself.

In 2016, she began posting her own original content and covers on both her SoundCloud and YouTube under the stage names, MORGUE, and spookiwi. She went under the stage name until June 19th, 2017, when she signed with Republic Records. After that, she released her first debut single, "Medusa," (which had been anticipated since January 2017, and had gone viral on the same month) on October 13th, 2017, under her new and current stage name; Kailee Morgue. It gained some attention, peaking at #30 on the iTunes Alternative charts. This led to her to have a fan base, and after that, she released her first major studio EP (extended play) on January 19th, 2018. An acoustic version of it was released on March 23rd, 2018, which included new vocals and an acoustic guitar production from Imad Royal.

Kailee is currently working on her first debut album, which is set to be released sometime in 2020. The first promotional single to it, "F**k U," was released on April 27th, 2018, with the second and third promotional singles being released on May 23rd, 2018 and August 24th, 2018, respectively.

While working on her upcoming album, she released a unfinished demo song on her SoundCloud titled "Can't Get Happy" on January 15, 2019. Two months later, on March 21, 2019, Kailee released her first full length song since she dropped "Siren" back in 2018 titled "Headcase" featuring Hayley Kiyoko.

Six months later, on August 8, 2019, Kailee released her second single titled "Black Sheep". On September 14, 2019, she released a SoundCloud only release of a suicide prevention song titled "March 14th" which is dedicated to the passing of her ex-boyfriend Hunter. [2]
